This blanket is so soft that my girls began to snuggle with it right away. This only lasted a few seconds until my grandmother saw the blanket and asked if she could keep it on her bed at our house. I immediately agreed as she is the hardest person to please when it comes to bedding. She only allows high quality sheets on her bed. Antonia’s First Christmas
It appears to me that the local stores are rushing the holiday seasons earlier each year. It annoys me daily because I am the type that loves fall, especially Halloween, and I don’t like the rush feeling it gives me. What I do like is the great reminder that my holiday preparations need to begin. Every year I put off present buying and card sending because I think I have all the time in the world. This strategy has proved to ineffective and only causes unnecessary stress for this Mom on the Run. I have a new strategy this year… Get things that can get done now completed, leaving me December to enjoy the holiday season. The reason for my new found motivation. One word… Shutterfly!

We have many relatives who live all over the United States. Christmas time is the one time that I can remember to send out photo cards so that everyone can see pictures of the girls. I love working with Shutterfly because they have so many beautiful design templates to choose from. Below is a screen shot of one of many templates I have been working with. This template is called the Very Merry Moments Christmas Card . I like the simplicity of this design.
My dilemma is choosing from a Black and White design or one with black and color tones. When I am done playing I will let you know what I decided to go with. I am also working on a calendar project for the grandparents Christmas presents. One stop shopping makes me very happy. Even better I do not have to leave the comfort of my living room. Shutterfly has become my go to place for my 2011 holiday needs. I have some good news to share.
