Hello Blog World!!

Life has been out of control. It seems that spring has really come in with a bang, and it has kept me on my toes. The girls have joined new sports, lacrosse and soccer, in conjunction to their races. As for me…….We found out at the end of March that I am pregnant!!!!!! Oh yes Mom on the Run is going to be a Mom of three :) I was trying to figure out a good time to blog and make this announcement, so today seemed like a great day :)

Our due date is December 5th and we are very excited for this wonderful Christmas surprise. The girls are very excited to have a new brother or sister enter their lives. We have gotten the request that they would like a sister, but my husband and I have no real preference other than healthy. I do not want to turn this blog into a baby crazy blog, but no promises. First trimester has been very tiring and my cooking mo-jo has taken a back burner. I miss cooking and I want to get creative again.

In celebration of this exciting news, I have a great contest to share with you, which is brought to you by Disney Family.com.

Because Disney Family.com recognizes the importance of eating and living healthy, they wanted to provide tips and advice on slashing sugar, cooking light, healthy recipes and more.  That’s why Family.com has partnered with Jamie Oliver – America’s new healthy food champion – on brand new site content focused on living better and living well.  Jamie’s show, ‘Food Revolution,’ addresses how families can rediscover ways to cook simple, delicious and affordable meals, and Family.com now features recipes from Jamie as well as his personal tips for healthy living.  In addition, you can also stream episodes of Food Revolution from the site.

To spread the word about Family.com’s partnership with Jamie Oliver, and the corresponding site content, They would love to offer one gift pack to give away to one lucky Mom on the Run Reader. This prize pack includes Jamie Oliver’s book, Jamie’s Food Revolution, Family.com branded over mitts and apron, a cutting board and bowl set (approximately an $85 value.)
