Thank you for all your kind comments after my horrible, terrible, very bad day
I am having a much better day today. Not only was I able to get almost all my laundry washed and put away, we were also able grocery shop and get the girls to the dentist. All in a day of Mom on the Run!
As promised I going to give you a sneak peak of my menu this week. The theme is light cuisine infused with fresh spring flavors. The menu includes:
Green Tea Encrusted Tilapia
Grilled Buffalo Steak with Herbs
Pomegranate Glazed Chicken
Walnut Crusted Roughy
Chicken Parmesan
If any of those dishes sound like things you would like to make in your kitchen, make sure to check back this week to get the step-by-step instructions and recipes.
Now onto the stinky feet.
Hello, My name is Sarah and my sneakers stink. Please blog world tell me that I am not the only one whose feet sweat, causing a not so pleasant odor to permeate out of their shoes. If you suffer from this same demise, please keep reading because I have the solution for you!
A few weeks ago I received a wonderful package from the wonderful Stuffitts Shoe Saver Company.
What are these funny looking read feet you may ask? These are the most amazing accessory for any athlete needing to treat their sneakers to a fresher scent. Not only do these help fight odor they also absorb moisture (yes even if you go for one of those sneaker soaker spring runs) and keeps your sneakers quality form.
So what makes Stuffits so special. Here is some information directly from the creators of Stuffitts.
Stuffitts are cedar filled shoe inserts that you put in your shoes after working out or wearing the shoes. Not only for athletic gear, Stuffitts are designed to dry your shoes quickly, eliminate odors, and extend the life of your shoes.
These Stuffitts are the second version. The originals seem to have been a big hit and these improve on the original design. They feature a removable insert, accessible through a zippered back. The insert contains the cedar pouch and replacements are available. The Stuffitts fit snugly and keep your shoe full, allowing for better ventilation and, I’m guessing, better and faster drying.
The Stuffitt itself is made of a technical fabric that encourages moisture wicking. The insert is also technical fabric and filled with 100% cedar, an absorbent material. A set of Stuffitts includes a strap that attaches to both Stuffitts, allowing you to easily carry your dirty and wet shoes over your shoulder. They come in a variety of colors as well.
Here is a great video clip and demonstration on how Stuffitts truly work that was posted on You Tube.
I know that many of you are runners and now that the weather is only getting better, outdoor running season is finally back. Melting snow and puddles are unavoidable. This product will make your running season even better. You are probably asking yourself how can I get a pair. Visit Stuffitts to obtain these not to live without sneaker savers. Your sneakers will thank you (my sneakers have already sent a personal thank-you
)!
I am off to finish empting my Google Reader and read some new blogs. Happy running and here’s to the end of stinky feet

Mom on the Run Disclosure: I was provided Stuffitts by the Stuffitts Shoesavor Company for my review. I was allowed to keep the product, but the opinion I am sharing remains my own. No other compensation was received for this review.

I’m definitely interested in hearing more about the Green Tea Tilapia.

That’s so cool that they use cedar. It’s funny that we have all this modern technology, and so many things are still done by using Mama Nature.
I’m so glad that your day was a lot better today.
Your recipes for this week sound amazing!
