Tajiah would like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. This was her from her holiday concert last night. Her kindergarten class performed several holiday selections and were so CUTE! They did an incredible job and we were so proud of her
What was in her lunchbox this morning to keep her smiling all day?
Nutella and Rudi’s Organic Bakery Honey Sweet Whole Wheat Bread
I have not posted a Lunch Box post in a very long time. I found a great product to help start us off again…Rudi’s Organic Bakery Products.
Rudi’s products includes breads, English muffins, rolls, tortillas, and wraps. Quite an impressive and extensive line of breads. Rudi’s were kind enough to send me many different products samples that they thought the kids would enjoy. I think that they could read my girls taste buds because they are in love with this bread.
I will have to say that I am a very picky bread consumer. First and foremost it cannot contain High Fructose Corn Syrup or other ingredients that I cannot pronounce. I want my girls to have whole grain nutrition, not fillers and additives. They are both athletic and growing and need natural ingredients to foster their development. Did Rudi’s Bread pass the Mom on the Run Test?
The 411 on the Honey Sweet Whole Wheat Bread:
Honey Sweet Whole Wheat
Perfect as the foundation to your family’s favorite sandwich, our Honey Sweet Whole Wheat is light in texture yet hearty in flavor. The addition of organic honey adds a hint of sweetness and the organic molasses adds richness to each slice. This whole grain bread is a definite winner!
Ingredients:
Organic whole wheat flour, water, organic vital wheat gluten, organic evaporated cane juice, cultured wheat flour, organic high oleic sunflower and/or safflower oil, sea salt, unfiltered organic honey, organic oat flour, yeast, organic molasses, organic barley malt, vinegar, ascorbic acid, natural enzymes. CONTAINS: WHEAT.
YES!!! I know all the ingredients on this list. All are natural organic ingredients that will help a growing body develop. The taste according to Tajiah “is super delicious”. This bread also pairs well with Nutella for an extra sweet taste. Tajiah eats lunch with a smile on her face and a full belly
Nutritional Stats:
Amazing….5 Grams of Protein and 3 Grams of Fiber. Usually not the case for great tasting bread. It goes with Rudi’s Motto: Better Ingredients, Better Bread.
We also have tried the English Muffins for a breakfast treat.
Which also met the Tajiah seal of approval. We were not disappointed by this bread and the flavors and satisfaction that it provided for my girls is undescribable.
Now you probably want to go right out an buy this scrumptious bread. You can find a retail store near you to see where you can purchase Rudi’s Bakery Products.
