Happy Holidays to everyone!!

This is me in my new apron on Christmas morning whipping up that glorious Christmas Menu that Dad on the Run and I created. In one phrase…

AMAZING CULINARY DELIGHT!!

More about that in tomorrow post. My vacation has turned into fitting in a lot more events than I had originally thought. My philosophy this break is go with the flow. Whatever gets done will get done. It will give me a chance to hangout with my girls and just have fun.

I also forgot that I never picked a winner for Rudi’s Organic Bakery Giveaway.

Hello Everyone!

My Fur Babies :)

Just wanted to check in and have a quick post. I have become really busy and don’t know how much time I will have to post this week. Christmas is upon us and I still have 2 days of work ahead of me, than a week and half off. I can handle that!

We also have 20 people coming to Christmas dinner. Dad on the Run and I have an amazing dinner planned and I will share our menu with everyone in the coming days. Expect next week to be full of good food post.

Yesterday after the storm I decided to make the girls pancakes to celebrate the winter solstice ( I can find any reason to make pancakes for the girls). I used a box mix that I received as a sample(Please see FTC disclaimer for details) to try from Cherrybrook Kitchen.

This is a great company that caters to those individuals suffering from dietary allergies. As many of you know I have been currently diagnosed with food allergies and love to find products to make my life a little bit easier. This particular box caters to those individuals who are need food that is dairy, egg, and nut free. They do have lots of gluten free products as well, but since I am detox I was not having pancakes today.

These pancakes are easy to make. Place mix into a bowl and add oil and milk alternative of your choice. We used rice milk.

I used my pancake maker machine to create my pancakes.

5 minutes later out pops a perfectly fluffy pancakes.

The girls really liked the pancakes. They each gobbled them up rather quickly which means that this mix got their seal of approval.

Well I am off to do some more planning and get ready for the many meetings I have before school lets out on Wednesday.
